The pressure of suddenly preparing for take-off after a delay is something all cabin crew will be familiar with, however it’s not yet clear what was the direct cause of the Ryanair flight attendant’s fall from the stationary aircraft.
The London-bound flight was reportedly running late, and there was a stressful atmosphere onboard, according to passengers.
“It was very confusing and unprofessional. It was almost like a state of panic when everything had to be done really quickly,” one passenger says in The Local.
It is still unclear why the hostess fell, but reports say the vehicle which carried the stairs to give access to the plane backed away and the hostess tumbled out of the back exit of the plane.
Gothenburg City Airport’s CEO Annika Nyberg told news agency TT: "The stairs had been removed and the door to the plane was closed. What made her open the door we don't know.”
The flight attendant sustained injuries to her head and was bleeding when the ambulance came to pick her up, according to the passenger quoted., She has since not been about to give more details about how the incident happened.

The incident on May 10 took place on a flight from Manchester to Tenerife. It is thought the pair had been drinking prior to the flight, although this has yet to be confirmed.
A spokesman for the Civil Guard on Tenerife island said: “Two young men told air stewardesses they had a bomb in their hand luggage. At this point emergency procedures were started. When the plane landed officers boarded and the two men were arrested.”

Airline passenger didn't have monkeypox
CHICAGO (AP) — Authorities say passengers aboard a Delta Airlines flight from Detroit were kept from disembarking in Chicago for about three hours after one person was suspected of carrying a disease.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says the passenger was evaluated shortly after the plane landed Thursday afternoon at Midway International Airport. The CDC says emergency medical personnel determined the woman’s rash was not related to monkeypox, which had been suspected.
In its statement, the CDC says the woman was cleared but advised to seek medical care.
The incident occurred on Delta flight 3163, which landed at about 3:45 p.m. Passengers were kept aboard the plane for about three hours before being allowed off.

Cathay Pacific Airways said a passenger on flight CX712 to Hong Kong from Bangkok assaulted a flight attendant on April 16 as the plane neared arrival and was restrained by the cabin crew and two passengers.
There “is no evidence whatsoever” that the attack was part of a terrorist attack, the Hong Kong-based carrier said in an e-mailed statement yesterday. While the airline is grateful to the passengers for their help, it said it hasn’t offered them free air tickets for life, as some media outlets reported.
One cabin crew member was slightly injured in the incident and was released the same day after hospital treatment, Cathay said. While the two passengers who assisted crew were slightly injured, they didn’t require hospitalisation, it said. The remaining 396 passengers on the flight were unaffacted, it said.
Police detained the passenger who made the assault for further investigation, it said.
