Train to become an accredited Aviation English Teacher

Aviation English Asia Ltd is an accredited training delivery partner of the Aviation English Organisation, and is fully authorised to conduct teacher and rater training.

The Teaching Training courses are designed to help suitable candidates become effective teachers of Aviation English. They are suitable for:

  2. Aviation professionals who want to become Aviation English teachers or assessors
  3. Experienced Aviation English teachers who want to improve their teaching skills before applying for professional accreditation

Best practice in Aviation English Teaching and Rating

To ensure that the minimum, better and best standards of practice stipulated in ICAO Document 9835 and ICAO Circular 323 are upheld the Aviation English Organisation has developed a thorough and very detailed plan for implementation.  This is internationally known as the Aviation English Rating Organisation, Syllabus and Teacher Assessment Framework (AEROSTA).

Recognising that short 4-7 day teacher and rater training courses are not effective, the Aviation English Organisation has developed a programme of continuing development for Aviation English professionals. The foundation of this programme is strict requirements on the minimum experience of teachers and raters before they progress in their careers.
