To attend this class you must enrol on the ICAO Aviation English for Cadet Entry Pilots course.

How to enrol:

  1. Consultation - in order to ensure that you can meet the basic requirements and have a realistic goal all AEA students must first attend a consultation. A consultation includes an informal level test benchmarked against a number of ICAO tests. Consultation costs $250 HKD and is reimbursable against courses within 2 weeks.  Call +852 81799295 to arrange a consultation at a mutually convenient time.
  2. Request a Learning Agreement - Complete a Learning Agreement and return it to Aviation English Asia.
  3. Payment - make payment to Aviation English Asia Ltd. Payment can be by cheque, cash or ATM transfer. Payment details are on the Learning Agreement.

    Michael - Director / Aviation English Teacher / Teacher Trainer

    Michael is the Managing Director of Aviation English Asia Ltd. He is very passionate about both aviation and language training and has been training airline employees since 2006. He lives in Hong Kong and is committed to providing the best support possible for English learners to achieve the levels of English proficiency that they need.  Michael advocates a communicative style of content-based learning to give learners sufficient practice of the core skills that they really need.  He is a graduate of the School of Oriental and African Studies (University of London), BPP Law School and has a Trinity Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of a Second or Other Language (Trinity Cert TESOL).  

    Gary - Aviation English Teacher / Subject Matter Expert

    Gary is a qualified English teacher (Trinity Cert TESOL) currently flying Boeing 747-800 aircraft for a Hong Kong based carrier.   He lives in Hong Kong and is committed to encouraging young people to join the industry and achieve the levels of English proficiency that are needed.

    Nicholas - Aviation English Teacher

    Nicholas has more than 30 years experience in sales of aviation training including simulators, pilot training and cadet programmes on behalf of major aerospace manufacturers and training providers.  He is a graduate of Cranfield University (MBA Business Management), Diploma in Marketing (Chartered Institute of Marketing) and is a qualified English teacher (Trinity Cert TESOL).

    Brendan - Aviation English Teacher / Subject Matter Expert / Airline Pilot

    Brendan is a Senior Captain flying Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. He is a former RAF pilot and has flown a wide range of aircraft including the Hawk, Boeing 747 and various high altitude aircraft. He has a lot of experience teaching pilots from ab initio (from the beginning) all the way up to fighter pilots.  He has a degree in biology and enjoys sailing in his free time.  If you would like to benefit from his 40 years of aviation experience, or even go sailing he will be very pleased to talk with you.
