Answer
Many flight training organisations require that their students have an IELTS score before they start flight training. An IELTS band score may also be useful when applying to study an aviation degree overseas.
Although not specifically focused on the language needed for ICAO compliance, IELTS courses at Aviation English Asia offer additional practice of the core language skills needed for an ICAO assessment.
