ICAO English for CEP is suitable for you if you want to apply for an airline's cadet pilot programme and need to improve your English before proceeding with the application. It is focused on key language functions in which you are expected to be proficient at ICAO Level 4/5. The topics are chosen specifically to be of high interest to cadets and you will learn a lot of information valuable for your career. You will learn from authentic recordings and learning materials selected and graded to your level.

On this course you will learn plain English in an aviation context so that you can report non-routine situations. We aim to increase your ability to communicate with confidence and equip you with very specific skills needed to function effectively and safely in aviation.

Phraseology is included in the course to provide a context to the interactions between pilot and air traffic controller. However the main focus is on the language needed to communicate in non-routine and emergency situations during flight operations.

The course covers all of the skills necessary for success in the airline's ICAO test.

It is very important that you take a course at the right level. The ICAO English for CEP course is suitable for people who have achieved a level 4 grading on the English Placement Test.
